Folk singer/songwriter Justin McRoberts has just announced a long planned, long awaited cover song project that he intends to reveal later this year. Although the singer is being pretty tight-lipped about the songs being chosen for the project (a great deal of it, if not all of it, will likely be mainstream songs), McRoberts had this to say about the album...

"I have been playing, revamping and choosing songs for this project for the past 2 years and Im excited to begin recording for this project this summer. Between now and the summer, I’ll be arranging renditions of songs by artists as from ____ and ____ and maybe even ____. The actual tracklist will be revealed in due time... neener neener. What I will tell you is the collection will be comprised of songs that have shaped my music and my life. I hope to have the project available by the Fall. Watch for my sign; either that or I'll probably email you."
